: (1) Work, duty and rights of pesticide registration body shall be as follows –
(a) To scrutinize the applications received for registration of pesticides and to register the pesticides deemed suitable and issue certificates.
(b) To prepare the infrastructure for efficient, prudent and proper use of pesticides.
(2) Other duties, duties and rights of the pesticide registration agency and the procedure to be followed while registering the pesticide shall be as prescribed.
